Fresh farmed fish is gathered in the specially designed areas of the central facilities, packaged in suitable styrofoam, and separated by size.
Products that come either from the company’s own fish farming units in Paliampela, Aetolia-Acarnania (location Chaliki and Palionisi in Amvrakikos Gulf) or from other fish farming units – suppliers are transported to the central facilities by IL MONDO’s refrigerated trucks.
Based on customer orders in key locations across Greek territory (Thessaloniki, Athens, Kavala, Patras, Ioannina, Igoumenitsa, Volos, Chalkida, Messolonghi), the products are arranged and palletized according to preference.
They are then distributed for sale in refrigerated lorries, either owned or belonging to other transport companies, in conditions suitable for maintaining their freshness.
The same process is followed for products from wild catches.
Upon agreement with professional fishermen, as well as with the dealers from auctions halls across Greece (Nea Michaniona Thessaloniki – Keratsini Piraeus – Patras – Kavala), products are received, grouped, and shipped according to the requirements of each order.

Finally, frozen-thawed fish and seafood are distributed from the central facilities to the company’s own fish shops and restaurants in Preveza and Agrinio, as well as from the Ioannina branch to the company’s customers (wholesalers, fish shops, supermarket chains).
